Hi everyone …..Kon’nichiwa
What a fantastic week I had last week with our very lovely Japanese visitors!
We opened up our first Heaven Spa in July last year in Tokyo, and since then we have opened up another 3 and our next will open in October 2013 and is a very special one that I am so excited about ( I get excited about them all so nothing new there! ).
The reason for our visitors was to train and strategically plan for the launching of more spas across Japan.
One of our Japanese partners is the head of medical services in Japan and he is working on incorporating the health benefits of Heaven treatments as part of preventative medicine.

But the entire week wasn’t just spent talking shop ! we did do some sight seeing, had some pampering as well as playing host to our guests at a dinner party at my house where Take Food presented us with the most beautiful food not to mention the most delicious too (thank you Mike our top Chef) !, and we had a really lovely time taking a tour of various landmarks (and stopping off for pampering, well it would be rude not too!)
Earlier this year I was shortlisted for the Queens award for British contribution to industry which I was so humbled and proud to be part of, and in turn has enabled me to form great relationships with our Asian counterparts, because buying British is very much the Buzz (pardon the pun) word in Asia and one that brings confidence when buying high quality premium products that deliver results, and Heaven skincare is most certainly all of the above and I am constantly making new products, and while some make it in to the range straight away there are some that sit waiting in the wings (watch this space!).
I take prided in buying British ingredients as it is a key part of my business ethos and one that has gained me high regard and respect globally and why our export numbers are extremely high, the world wants and loves British made!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my week and I hope you have enjoyed reading about it, next week I am off to China with my daughter Ellajane so be sure to look out for my blog post on my far eastern adventures!
There are more pictures on my week in the Gallery.
Have a great week ahead
優雅なおかげで (with gracious thanks)
